Unlike most of America's money managers, Check Capital Management gives you a choice of management fees. First is an annual flat fee of 1% or less of account assets. The alternative is a performance-based fee: 10% of annual profits. Clients selecting this option pay a lower management fee when returns are lower. This "incentive" approach aligns our results more closely with yours.
The profit-based fee is available only to "Qualified Clients". The Securities and Exchange Commission defines Qualified Clients as a) the Client's net worth be at least $2.1 million (exclusive of the Client's equity in their primary residence and net of any debt secured by Client's residence taken out in the last 60 days except for purchase of the residence), or b) the Client's assets with the manager be at least $1 million.
